Reviews Basswerk 32 is a dj tool 12''. "Wüstensturm" was Giana Brotherz first track ever released and was the reason for their big success and several best act/live-act awards. It came out on Basswerk 14 and immerdiately sold out, but was never repressed. Instead, now the 2008 rmx is back on vinyl and this is a guaranteed freak-out whereever you play it. It surely won't win a liquid award, it is pure electronic and rave. Giana Brotherz are also back performing this live again. Dementia is getting more and more strong reputation in the Neurofunk scene and has also usually got a bit of a rave touch in his tunes. "Always on My Mind" containing a vocal hookline is a kind of modern electronic D&B party-pop, a safe tune to play for every dj wanting to break up, relax and cheerup a crowd expecting the take-off. It is also Track number 1 on the 3rd cd (Technik-Session) of Basswerk's new 3cd compilation. |
